FTL Foundation was founded in October of 1977.

The original goals and guiding principles of FTL Foundation remain the compass of the organization today.

FTL Foundation maintains a mature organization of program and project managers, engineers, and subject matter experts.
The Foundation applies a very long range goal oriented planning structure to all Foundation-related endeavors. The planning scope includes:

Short term (0-1 year)
Mid-term (>1 year-5 year)
Long term (>5 years-20 years)
Extended term (>20 years-100 years)
Foundation term (>100 years-1000+ years).


The FTL Foundation is a private foundation whos primary impetus is not profit. The Foundation primarily focuses upon earth-bound enterprizes aimed at sustainability, humanity-earth cohesive existence programs and technologies. The Foundation has an imperitive to improve the Human Condition via education and institutional guidance, human health, poverty/standard-of-living improvement, clean power, and other clean resources.
